May 17, 2020 Mechanized Assault & eXploration Reloaded. A open source remake of M.A.X., it provides modern system support along with updated networking. If a full copy of the original game is available, the original game textures can be used. Otherwise, free texture packs are available to make the remake standalone. The title of this game sums it up perfect – it is about assault and exploration. Imagine a perfect cybernetic organism, a robot, guided by a human brain, which is kept in a nutrition fluid. Netrek software is mostly divided into two categories: clients andservers.
If you want to play Netrek, you will need to download aclient, but you don't need the server.

Netrek Client Software
There are various Netrek clients. Different people preferdifferent clients, and all clients work with Bronco, INL, Hockey, Chaos,and Sturgeon servers.

Netrek Server Software
If you want to run your own server, you'll need server code.Almost all server code has now been merged; you can run Bronco, INL, Chaos,Sturgeon, and Hockey from the same source.Mac Os Catalina
