There are multiple ways to access Epic at UVA Health remotely.
Recommended: UVA Health Apps Portal
Right-click the Hyperspace font file(s) and choose 'Install'. For users of the previous Windows versions: - Copy Hyperspace font & pest into a default Windows font folder (usually C: WINDOWS FONTS or C: WINNT FONTS) For Mac users: Mac OS X 10.3 or above (including the FontBook) - Double-click Hyperspace font file and hit 'Install font' button at. (2002) Mac OS Classic HyperSpace 2.0 (1990) is another higher-dimensional polytope viewer, by Paul Bruke. It does not let you drag and spin, but offers both multiple slice view and projection view on about 4 regular polyhedrons.
The easiest way to access Epic remotely is through the UVA Health Portal.
The UVA Health Apps Portal allows users to access commonly used applications such as Epic Hyperspace, MSOffice, Skype, and Kronos via an internet connection without the security and encryption requirements of VPN.
Alternative Option: Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Epic can also be accessed with a VPN token (Duo) and software to enable devices to remotely connect to HIT systems. This option has security requirements for your device and requires the user to have Administrative rights to the device.
