Upgrading the original drive in your Mac is a great way to improve performance and/or increase the storage capacity of your Mac. When transferring data from one drive to another, we highly recommend you install a fresh copy of Mac OS, and then use Apple's Migration Assistant to migrate the data to the new drive. I have a Mac-formatted RAID that was not created with Disk Utility. Is it supported? I have a RAID that is over 2TB and it won’t mount in Windows XP. I have MacDrive 9 Standard or MacDrive 8 (or prior). Can I access Apple RAID? What if I have a set that was created using a version older than OS 10.4?
